Please arrive at the Public Entrance at 13-15 Camden High St.

No admission after 10pm.

PROGRAMME:

7pm – Roman Ondak, Insiders, 2007.
A durational work with three actors, performed for the first time since its original 2007 performance at Kunsthalle St Gallen, Switzerland. A discrete group amongst the crowd, the ‘insiders’ ignore their surroundings as they dress and undress, reversing their clothes.

7.30pm – Amalia Ulman, Privilege, 2016
In a new video essay created for this event, the Los Angeles-based artist asks her audience “Are you vulnerable? What is valuable?”. Recent video-essays have combined the characteristic ‘middlebrow aesthetics’ and the confessional intimacy of amateur vlogs with an arch didactic tone, as they dissect contemporary topics from Justin Bieber to North Korea to hipster culture to the presentation of women online.

8pm – Mary Hurrell, Movement Study 5 (Pearlex), 2016

Hurrell presents a new performance for DRAF, in which the body is extended through sound, garments and movement made by the artist. Three dancers travel through the gallery and audience on a sculptural perspex structure choreographed to a live soundtrack.
8.30pm – Goshka Macuga, End of Line, 2016
An ambitious new durational work by Macuga includes two 4.5m motorised tables, artist-made costumes, two dancers perform original choreography by Mbulelo Ndabeni on the moving tables, with commissioned score by Mira Calix.

9.30pm – Mark Wallinger, Make Me Think Me, 2006

First performed at DIA, New York in 2006, an actor reads the Turner Prize winning artist’s surreal and humorous text inspired by iconic American artist Bruce Nauman and the vivid experience of stage fright.

10.15pm – DJ set by Olof Dreijer (The Knife)
One half of legendary Swedish electro-pop band The Knife ends the night with a DJ set.

11pm – CLOSE
