B-East presents : imMobilized – a group show of young Polish artists

For the past three decades, Poland underwent a number of events that have shaped the state of mind of its citizens : the downfall of communism, joining the European Union, a major increase in the economy as well as a return to traditional values. imMobilized is a group show that gathers the artworks of thirteen young Polish artists, reflecting a certain vision of today’s Poland.  The artworks mainly question the links between body acting inside a group vs solitary body, authority vs resistance, public space vs private space. A series of roundtables are held on this occasion featuring artists, curators and art historians.
