Wallspace Gallery invites you to the 5th Auction of Works of Art, which will be held on December 5, 2024 at 7:30 p.m. The catalog brings together for you collectible objects of both classics of the Polish avant-garde and artists of the new generation. In the catalog you will find works exhibited and documented over the years, whose provenance is known, which is an added value to each of the works on display.
Noteworthy is the collection of works by Stefan Gierowski. On display is the entire spectrum of his work: a watercolor from the “Confrontations” portfolio from 1975, a gouache on cardboard also from 1975, and two canvases from the 1970s and 1990s. The auction also included an interesting collection of paintings by Jan Dobkowski, Stanisław Fijałkowski and Leon Tarasewicz. Collectors’ attention should be drawn to Alfred Lenica’s painting “Scream I” from 1965, which was exhibited at the Krzysztofory gallery in 1965. There are also works of the younger generation represented by Karolina Jabłońska, Martyna Czech, Karol Radziszewski, among others.
