Sylwia Krasoń (fr)

Founder and director of arts organisation Contemporary Lynx, since 2013. Editor-in-chief and founder of the print magazine Contemporary Lynx with a global reach and international distribution, listed as one of the best art magazines in London by Sotheby’s Institute of Art and recommended by Tate Modern bookshop. The editor-in-chief of the online monthly magazine Contemporary Lynx. Vice-president of the Contemporary Lynx Foundation in Warsaw since 2017. Holds a Master of Arts degree in Arts Policy & Management with a specialization in curating contemporary art from the University of London, Birkbeck College (2012) and Master of Arts in History of Art from Jagiellonian University in Cracow (2008). She has got 15 years of experience in the art field, gained through various posts including at Philips de Pury, Saatchi Gallery and Barbican Art Gallery. Co-founder and a curator of a pop-up art gallery (Oct-Dec 2012) in London. Curator of the exhibition “Bogota. City on the Edge” at Laznia – Centre for Contemporary Art in Gdansk. The author of the interactive workshop programme “Storytelling for Creatives” and “How to make a magazine” supported by Arts Council in England. Experienced conferences’ speaker, workshops’ facilitator and member of jury’s’ panels. Author of texts about art and culture. Author of texts about art and culture. Currently lives in Paris.

Studied history of art at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków and completed postgraduate studies in e-commerce and social media. Maria Markiewicz (en)

Freelance art writer and curator with an interest in gender and queer theory. Having completed her BA at Central Saint Martins and her MA at Goldsmiths, University of London, she now collaborates with different art organisations worldwide. As a cultural theorist and a researcher, she has published a number of essays on art that is socially and politically engaged, analysing it in regards to sexuality studies and psychoanalysis.

Kasia Lorenc (DE, PL)

She has worked for ŻAK BRANICKA, Gregor Podnar, Neue Galerie Gladbeck, among others, and freelances with various partners and artists from the Rhine-Ruhr area. Since January 2022 she has been a curator at Kunsthalle Gevelsberg. She lives in Essen.

While being born, raised and currently based in Poland, she graduated from Lancaster University with a degree in Media and Cultural Studies and then spent a year at the University of Amsterdam. She was the first Editor-in-Chief of The Lambert, the first and only Polish student media in the UK, and worked in social media and communications. Currently, she helps with editing and proofreading a range of content, as well as at various film festivals, publishes film analysis and reviews, facilitating her own corner of the internet, interested in all things culture.

Niccolò Lucarelli

Niccolò Lucarelli holds a degree in International Studies but also has a background in the arts and academia. He works as an art critic for esteemed European publications. His curatorial research is primarily dedicated to exploring the influence of socio-political subjects on artistic practices. He keenly examines how artists engage with and respond to these themes, resulting in thought-provoking exhibitions and projects. He has curated shows in Italy, Euorpe and Africa. He also works as a military historian for the Italian Army General Staff and has published some essays and books on World War I and II.

Łukasz Musielak

(born 1979) – philosopher, art theorist, art critic, book editor, author of more than 50 articles on contemporary art published in catalogues, books, and leading Polish art magazines, such as Obieg, Szum, and Dwutygodnik. He has been a lecturer at the Academy of Art in Szczecin for almost 10 years. His PhD thesis focused on the anthropological and ethical foundations of Zygmunt Bauman's postmodern sociology. He is interested in art and other manifestations of visual culture as a way of understanding the contemporary post-postmodern human condition.
