Who are you?
Who am I?
What is your truth?
What is mine?
Rooted at the very core of our being, our perception of reality – our personal truth –
lies deep within the realm of who we are. It is the essence that defines us, it is what
gives us meaning in this immense universe. Shaped by past experience, it is the fuel
that drives our present, it is what forges our path into the future.
Who are we as human beings and why are we here? What does it all mean?
Questions we are all faced with at some point in our lives, formidable questions
without any easy answers. The tendency to question our reality and pursue the truth
is innately human, a fundamental part of who we are. In an often harsh and uncertain
world, it may lead us to recoil into ourselves or perhaps run away and hide. But it
may also open us up to novel ideas, new experiences, or to want to look at the world
in a different way.
8 photographers in search of truth invite you to share in our quest. Can you
recognise something of yourself in our work? Do you feel alienated by what you see
or can you relate? In a world where differences tend to drive us apart, we seek to
connect. We choose to be open, to celebrate the diversity of ideas that help sculpt
our unique visions of reality.
