The 15th ArtVilnius’24 will take place on 4-6 October 2024 at the Lithuanian Exhibition and Congress Centre Litexpo. The focus of the fair is Northern Europe.
This year, 67 contemporary art galleries and 15 art institutions from 14 countries around the world have been selected for the fair. Participating artists include guest artists from Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, France, Germany, Italy, Ukraine, Poland, Belgium, the USA, and other countries.
The curator of the fair’s Project Zone program is the art historian and curator of the exhibition at the Lithuanian National Pavilion at the 60th Venice Biennale, Dr Valentinas Klimašauskas.
The program of the sculpture installations and performances in the exhibition The Path was created and the artists were selected by Maria Arusoo, the head of the Estonian Centre for Contemporary Art and the commissioner of the Estonian Pavilion of the 60th Venice Biennale.
ArtVilnius’24 presents exceptional works of art and promotes creativity, cultural dialog, and international cooperation. The creative program of the fair is complemented by discussions, lectures, presentations of art publications, an educational program, and excursions with art critics. Each year, the fair attracts 18-23 thousand visitors of all ages. Tickets are already available on Kakava.lt.
