November 15 – November 16
NARRACJE is a contemporary art festival presented in the public space of Gdańsk. The artworks become navigators of an urban adventure: they provoke, intervene, and peel back the layers of everyday life to reveal hidden meanings. NARRACJE takes place in the fall, each year in a different district. The district serves as a reference point for the curators and as an inspiration for the artists.
Can a housing estate become a year-round health resort for its residents? As part of NARRACJE, which this year will take place in the late-modernist, forest-surrounded Niedźwiednik estate, we want to reinterpret the concept of a health spa. On November 15 and 16, we invite you to join us for a walk in search of everyday rituals rooted in local stories.
The route will be marked by the artworks of Jan Domicz, Kaja Domińska, Wojciech Gawroński, Zuza Golińska, the Hydroza collective, Kasper Jakubowski, Krystyna Jędrzejewska-Szmek, Tosia Kiliś, Piotr Kowalski, Bartosz Kruczyński, Tadeusz Leksycki, Dominika Olszowy, Tomek Pawłowski-Jarmołajew, Katarzyna Przezwańska, Zuzanna Skurka, Anna Sztwiertnia, Stach Szumski, Dominika Święcicka, Julia Taszycka, Kacper Tomaszewski, the Turnus collective, and Melanie Urban.
