November 5, 2021 – December 4, 2021
The exhibition uses the language of contemporary art to respond to issues that affect our society, our environment, while highlighting the issues of climate change and our relationship with the natural world. The question of sustainability is an inexhaustible topic, from which this time the focus is on the power of plants, which in many ways provides a solution to the environmental problems we face. The exhibition features works by Hungarian and Polish contemporary artists that engage visitors in an interactive way to discover the hidden depths and solutions offered by our Earth’s flora.
The Power of Plants exhibition uses art to illustrate the significance of plants in shaping the future, while the educational elements of the exhibition offer an even deeper understanding of their power.
The exhibition was brought to life in order to encourage a change of perspective, for which contemporary art can provide an unparalleled experiential tool.
The contemporary works of art on display in the MANK Gallery will showcase the power of plants in a variety of ways: with educational content and related info-graphics, showing the role of plants in the environment, but also on the human body, our mental and spiritual health.
