‘INNER STRENGHT: THE WOMAN OF POLAND AND JAPAN’

Are Polish and Japanese women similar? How do they perceive themselves? What is their everyday life like – work, family and entertainment? What is their role in the ever-changing world and what is the inner strength, that helps them build a social position?

These questions were asked by Polish and Japanese illustrators within the project co-organised by the Adam Mickiewicz Institute Inner Strength: The Women of Poland and Japan. An exhibition of their works will be presented between the 25th – 30th of September at the Spiral Gallery in Tokyo. The aim of the exhibition is to look at the role and perception of women of Poland and Japan.
