Sławek Czajkowski (otherwise known as Zbiok), the cult street artist, will be showing his latest works in the industrial spaces of the Dom Słowa Polskiego! His exhibition, “No man is an Island” came about as part of an artistic project, the Nobody Club, intended for anyone who has no hope. Its discusses a range of issues including the dire financial situation of artists exploited by institutions and the lack of prospects for social and health security. The exhibition is the work of the duo Dwa Zeta, i.e. Sławek Zbiok Czajkowski and Karolina Zajączkowska.
Sławek Czajkowski
Painter, graphic artist, illustrator, muralist. One of Poland’s best-loved street artists, he has been involved in a wide range of projects and exhibitions all over the world, including in Brazil, China, France, India, Germany, Russia, the United States, and Great Britain. Co-curator of the award-winning urban art biennial Out of Sth. Along with Karolina Zajączkowska he is one half of the artistic duo Dwa Zeta. He is a multiple prizewinner, including the Geppert Competition, and in 2011 was awarded a Minister of Culture and National Heritage scholarship.
