Justyna Mędrala

Justyna Mędrala (b. 1988), a visual artist focused on drawing, sculpture and installation. Asstistant professor at Graphic Department  in Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. She thinks about the origins of the form not as something added from the outside, not as an order from the surrounding environment, but as about something that comes with the material, because it’s stuck in it. The materials that she uses: beeswax, soap or coal, give her a wide range of opportunities for doing so.
