Karolina Balcer – (born in1988 in Toruń) She graduated from the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wroclaw. Karolina is a painter and video artist, she also creates site-specific installations in public spaces. Her artistic actions centre around the topic of the architecture seen as a tool to organise a social life.
Karolina Balcer (born in1988 in Toruń) She graduated from the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wroclaw. Currently, she is a doctoral student at the same university. Her graduation thesis entitled Technical Block was recognised as the diploma of the year at the Department of Painting. She is a winner of the Fresh Zone contest at the ArtBoom Festival in Krakow (2015). She participated in the Wro Media ART biennale (2015), Bielska Autumn (2015, 2017), 14th edition of the modern art review Survival (2016, 2017), and in Artloop Festival in Sopot (2016). Karolina is a painter and video artist, she also creates site-specific installations in public spaces. Her artistic actions centre around the topic of the architecture seen as a tool to organise a social life. Since 2015, she has been co-running the Wykwit gallery.
