For the third time, during the 8th Best Media Arts Graduation Projects Competition, the editors of Contemporary Lynx magazine will award their prize by publishing a portfolio/interview and doing additional promotional activities.
The exhibition is a review of the best graduation projects created at public art academies in Poland – Gdansk, Katowice, Cracow, Lodz, Poznan, Szczecin, Warsaw, and Wroclaw – in the field of media art, intermedia, and multimedia. The works selected in this edition of the Best Media Arts Graduation Projects Competition, titled Dowody osobiste (Identity Proofs), are a commentary on the situation of constructing one’s own identity in the face of social rules. Among presented works are video and multi-element intermedia installations and pieces that use and refer to VR technology. There are also performative statements.
