The exhibition “24 hours Berlin – Warsaw” is a pop-up cultural event organized in a temporary location – private apartment situated in Warsaw city center. For 24 hours: from Saturday evening of October 14th, 2017 to Sunday evening of October 15th, 2017 the space of the apartment will be changed into a gallery with an exhibition presenting young artists from two European capitals: Berlin and Warsaw. This kind of event relates to the tradition of Berlin alternative scene and similar initiatives organized only for few hours in unexpected venues. Those kind of events have a virus- character. They attack suddenly and disappear also as sudden as they appear but ut they bring a lot of various people together and leave a good artistic energy behind. In this case the main aim of “24 hours Berlin – Warsaw” event is to present for Warsaw unknown Berlin artists, create a dialog with local actors and give opportunity for new exchanges and further collaborations. The exhibition will consists of works in various medias: drawings, installation, photography, objects and paintings made by artists connected with Warsaw and Berlin.
