ART FOR UKRAINE is proud to partner with The Auction Collective, featuring 75 beautiful artworks generously donated by over 70 international artists. Inspired by Night For Ukraine, a London-based creative charity fundraising initiative, ART FOR UKRAINE was founded by Oxford alumnus Asia Éléonore Feliks, and co-curated by Courtauld graduate Sarah Emily Green, with the aim of bringing together emerging artists and young art-professionals from around the world to support Ukraine. The auction will be open for bidding Friday, April 1st, until April 22nd, 4pm BST. All proceeds will be donated directly to the Disaster Emergency Committee‘s (DEC) Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.
The ART FOR UKRAINE charity sale will present a number of impressive names including the leading Joshua Hagler (Unit London), Cat Roissetter (Cob Gallery) and Chechu Alava (Cob Gallery), offering collectors a rare opportunity to obtain remarkable works by the artists whilst helping an urgent humanitarian cause. A highly anticipated auction debut will be available from Pearl Morris, both an artist and singer, drawing creative inspiration from jazz music and the photographic subjects of her artist father Denis Morris’ work.
The sale includes an exciting selection of up-and-coming artists from Eastern Europe, including, among others, works by London-based Lithuanian painters Vilte Fuller, Simona Orentaité and Vika Prokopaviciute, Polish painters Monika Chlebek, Aleksandra Sidor, Julia Kowalska, Barbara Wesołowska, Danuta Turkiewicz, Anna Grzymała, Aleksandra Szczodry and artist duo Øleg & Kaśka, Belarusian artist Anastasia Rydlevskaya, as well as Ukrainian artists Olga Scheblykina and Yana Makukh.
