MOLSKI gallery&collection invites to the exhibition of works from the collection, which accompanies the opening of a new art gallery in Poznań. The exhibition consists of selected works from Michał Molski’s collection built over 10 years ago. These are mainly the works by outstanding artists of Polish contemporary art, such as Jan Berdyszak, Jerzy Kałucki, Henryk Stażewski, Edward Krasiński, Teresa Tyszkiewicz, Jan Tarasin, Leon Tarasewicz or Jan Dobkowski as well as artists of the younger generation such as Tamara Berdowska, Michał Misiak, Tadeusz G. Wiktor and Antoni Starowieyski.
The exhibition space is composed of two storeys in the form of a classic white cube which offers an exciting arrangement potential. The exhibition’s concept is determined by two axes: geometric abstraction and other works belonging to the classics of avant-garde and figuration. The collection presents a very high aesthetic and substantive level. The exhibition itself iswell-thought-out, coherent and interestingly multi-layered, which distinguishes it from similar shows in this region.
