As remarked by Honza Zamojski:
“The work that physically develops within this exhibition stems from my interests in mathematics and narrative compositions.
For 1+1+2+3+5+8, I am using the Fibonacci sequence as a backbone to the exhibition’s structure with each work derived from the result of two previously conceived pieces. This method achieves formal results and also allows me to draw the focus to my creative practice. Here, the color blue has been adapted to accentuate the simplicity of material and application for the process of developing a new work within the structure of onestar press’ exhibition space.” H.Z.
Honza Zamojski (born in 1981) lives and work in Poznań. He studied philosophy and cultural studies at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, then transferred to the city’s Academy of Fine Arts where he got an M.A. in Graphic Design and Visual Communication in 2008. His commentary on the world spans genres – sculpture, drawing and art-book publishing. He ran the Morava Publishing house between 2010-2013.
