Bartosz Zaskórski (b.1987) is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice. He currently works as an assistant at the Faculty of Art at the Pedagogical University of Cracow and is a PhD student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków. His works are enclosed to the collection of Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art. Zaskórski’s areas of work include drawing, book design, writing and recording audio plays, and creating objects. As a musician, he works under the moniker “Mchy i Porosty” (Mosses & Lichens) and usually performs melancholic danceable music. He is the author of few audio plays, composed of short stories about love, countryside life, post-apocalyptic visions and nature. His works are full of nostalgia, irony and black humour.
