Artystyczna Podróż Hestii

Deadline: November 28

The mission of the Hestia Artistic Journey Foundation (Artystyczna Podróż Hestii), established in 2014, is to facilitate dialogue between the worlds of art and business. This year’s third edition of its National Grant Programme – Time of Opening – once again encourages the promotion of broadly understood accessibility. Accordingly, the projects submitted by participating artists should focus on educating about the diversification of the social landscape and on activating local communities.

Special recognition will be given to initiatives that implement tangible changes in the cultural environment, such as “ensuring equal opportunities for all, counteracting social exclusion, combating discrimination, fostering intergenerational dialogue, and emphasising the need to protect the environment and natural resources”.

Who can apply:

Open to all artists planning to open an exhibition in Poland.

How to apply:

The application should include: the applicant’s CV and portfolio (along with links to digital sources), a complete description of the exhibition concept and the planned educational and community engagement activities, as well as a letter of intent from the Institution implementing the exhibition.

Each artist may submit only one project; however, they may participate in other projects in a different capacity. The evaluation will primarily focus on the accurate interpretation of the main theme, the artistic quality of the selected works, and the project’s potential reach and social impact.

Fees and awards:

No application fee.

The total amount of grants available is PLN 500,000. Selected projects will receive individual grants of up to PLN 100,000, but not less than 80% of the submitted budget.
