At the invitation of the OmenaaArt Foundation, the Contemporary Lynx team attended Accra Culture Week, held between 24–28 October 2024. This vibrant event featured a week of public and private art events, exhibition openings, studio visits, performances, and debates. Accra Culture Week serves as a platform to encourage deeper engagement with Ghana’s dynamic contemporary art scene.
Our team also took part in the inauguration ceremony for the Kids Haven Sport & Art Complex in Accra, an event celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Omenaa Foundation’s impactful work in Ghana. This new facility will provide a safe and supportive space for children without families or those facing extreme poverty, many of whom are forced to work on the streets.
