Hot Off The Press: Violence, Football, The Architecture Of Spectacle Marcin Dudek’s artbook “The Crawd Man” about crowd psychology and aggression, is out now!

Dudek is an international artist who has been shown his work at the top art fairs and festivals, from Miami to Hong-Kong. But around 1995, the Brussels-based artist was part of dedicated supporters of Cracovia, the football club from Cracow. He was a hooligan. Now, these experiences return in his art by forms of personal reminiscences.

“The Crowd Man” book was published on the occasion of his recent solo exhibition at the Wrocław Contemporary Museum. In his art practice, Dudek mostly uses art installations and objects combined with performance art, to creates situations based on the confrontation. The book contains excessive documentation of the show in Poland as well as 72 reproductions of unique compositions made out of the archive, collection of references, zines, and sketches.

Published in Polish and English language, in 500 copies, by the Wrocław Contemporary Museum.
