Contemporary Lynx is a media patron of the 12th Best Media Art Graduation Projects competition, organized by the WRO Art Center and the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław.
This year, our editorial team also awarded its own prize to Agata PLK Polak and her project “Mycosphere 3.0: Artistic And Scientific Exploration Of Web 3.0 Through Mycelium And Its Underground Queer Methodologies.”. This is an artistic and research-based project that offers a critical reflection on contemporary techno-capitalism and the evolution of the Internet, from its originally decentralized and egalitarian vision to a centralized infrastructure dominated by Big Tech. The award consists of an interview with the artist, which will be published in our magazine and across its social media channels.
