Lynx x FRINGE Warszawa 2025: We are proud media partner of FRINGE.

Contemporary Lynx is a proud media partner of the independent platform FRINGE Warszawa, created in 2022, in response to the marginalisation of artists working outside the mainstream. The FRINGE Warszawa take place between September 24 – 28, 2025.

This year’s edition is bigger yet again, which we believe demonstrates the critical need for this type of work. We are once again co-financed by MKiDN and SDK, and also have received a grant from the city of Warsaw. Wydawnictwo Stopka (Basia Strzeżek and Karo Wyka) has created our visual identity and as the year before, Artsass has supported it coming to life on their website. 

The most important aspect of FRINGE Warszawa is not its scale, the number of works presented, or events organized, but its ability to generate community. This year, we organized six FRINGE community meetings. We share resources and knowledge, and prioritize access to and visibility of non-commercial contemporary art. FRINGE Warszawa is experimental, fluid, changing, and imperfect. As advocates for independent art and culture production, we are doing our best to create a fair and transparent framework for this experiment in community building.
