Gabriel Orłowski (b.1989) is a Warsaw-based photographer, new media artist, and musician who received his MFA in the Photography Department of the Polish National Film, TV, and Theatre School in Łódź. Orłowski is an author and a collaborator of various zines and artbooks. The leitmotif of his works is a post-human world – hollow, yet full of traces, signs and objects, that used to be functional, but have become incomprehensible. Orłowski sees his practice as a ridiculous, trippy paradocumentary, that balances between a hallucinatory flow on one end and hyperrealism on the other. Some of his key interests include the image itself, spectacularity, ambience and dynamics, as well as tension and conflict
