Marta Krześlak (b.1994) is a visual artist focused on photography, video art, installation and site-specific projects. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź in July 2018. She also studied on Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and l’ École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Lyon. In her works, she reflects on the notion of nature and how it relates to the realm of culture. She uses ready-made objects made of plastic, garbage or everyday objects to create nature-like compositions, which resemble coral reefs, and fish and seaweeds floating on water. Her concepts are full of irony, wit and humour.
