TON designs timeless bentwood furniture in Bystřice pod Hostýnem, the oldest place in the world where a traditional manufacturing technology is still used. 

TON bends furniture by hand at a workshop where this technology has been used since 1861. Every single wood piece is unique. Each one of their products requires different time for absorbing steam before bending and then different time for drying. Although TON has implemented modern machinery to the manufacturing process, some of the manual operations can never be automated. This is what makes the furniture unique.
