What we do

We develop local, national, and international partnerships which contribute to the rise of new initiatives in the field of visual arts.

„Pracownie w Sieci”

[„Workshops in the Web”]

In 2020 and 2021 the Contemporary Lynx Foundation completed a project called „ Pracownie w Sieci” [„Workshops in the Web”], financed by Biuro Stołeczne Konserwatora Zabytków (KZ) Urzędu Miasta Warszawa. Our team created a series of articles about studios in Warsaw and artists, including Magdalena Abakanowicz, Barbara Niezgoda and her granddaughter Paulina Tyro-Niezgoda, and Wanda Czełkowska. As a result, 15 highly substantive texts about incredible art studios in Warsaw were created.

Nagroda AllegroPrize

Leading award for international artists

We co-organise the annual international Art Prize in partnership with Allegro, the largest Polish e-commerce platform, which has been promoting antiques and art since 2018. The aim is to discover new talents, support them financially, and present their work on an unprecedented scale. Allegro Prize is addressed to visual artists of all disciplines and from any country—art students, graduates, and even those who have not attended an art school but have documentation of their work. The cash prize pool is 50 000 PLN. A prestigious jury, consisting of artists, curators, and collectors, selects 3 winners and 10 shortlists.

Simultaneously, we actively acquire and train young editors who have recently graduated or are still studying at renowned universities. Together, this makes about 50 people.
