Michał Sroka (b.1984) visual artist, architect, assistant and PhD student at the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków. He works across media focusing on installation, collages, sculpture and painting. Sroka often uses raw materials such as wood, metal, concrete or plywood. In his expressive and monochrome paintings and drawing, he often uses the collage and decollage techniques. Took part in several exhibitions, numerous competitions and workshops. His works have been shown in Poland and abroad, including Germany, Czech Republic, England, France, Spain and Austria. His main area of interest is the relationship between painting, architecture, sculpture and space.
