We are pleased to announce that Contemporary Lynx is a media partner of Hidden Narratives, an exhibition bringing together the work of six Belarusian women artists at Galeria Promocyjna in Warsaw.
Curated by Sasha Velichko, the exhibition runs from 19 September to 7 November 2026 and explores the ways personal histories become part of collective memory. Drawing on family stories, bodily memory, personal archives and shared experiences, the featured artists examine questions of memory, trauma, intimacy, loss, identity and belonging.
The exhibition presents works by Olga Kirillova, Sasha Kulak, Dina Leonova, Masha Sviatahor, Sasha Smal and Yuliya Tsviatkova, whose practices approach the Belarusian experience from different perspectives and through diverse artistic strategies. While rooted in specific histories and circumstances, their works open up a broader conversation about how individual stories can survive, transform and become accessible to others.
At Contemporary Lynx, we are particularly interested in artistic practices that uncover overlooked histories and challenge the ways collective narratives are constructed. Hidden Narratives offers an important space for precisely this kind of reflection, bringing intimate and often fragmented experiences into dialogue with wider questions of memory and belonging.
We are delighted to support the exhibition as a media partner and to contribute to the conversation around these compelling artistic voices.
