Contemporary Lynx is a proud media partner of the AfryKamera Festival.
The AfryKamera Festival is the first film festival in the Central and Eastern European region to promote African cinema, and the largest event in Poland dedicated to the culture of the African continent. It is an interdisciplinary event bringing together a wide community of people fascinated by Africa’s rich and diverse cultures.
From 21–26 November 2025, the 20th edition of the festival will take place – a milestone marking AfryKamera’s uninterrupted presence on the Polish festival scene since 2006. From the very beginning, the festival has sought to meet the expectations of its audience. What fosters integration are not only the thought-provoking films, but also meetings and conversations with creative voices. For years, these have provided a unique and valuable opportunity for Polish audiences to take part in intercultural and participatory dialogue.
A key aspect of the Festival’s mission is to give a platform to creative individuals from the continent and its diaspora. In addition, AfryKamera features a range of accompanying events, including meetings, debates and the AFreaks music stage.
