Taking place on 25–27 September 2026, the fifth edition of FRINGE Warszawa will bring together more than 50 independent initiatives, opening the doors of galleries, artist-run spaces and studios across the city.
Born in 2022 as a grassroots initiative, FRINGE Warszawa has become an important platform for artists, collectives and independent art spaces operating outside the mainstream art circuit. Last year’s edition featured more than 95 projects across different parts of Warsaw, reflecting the scale and energy of the city’s independent art community.
This year, FRINGE is taking another important step by developing its activities beyond the annual festival. At the heart of the 2026 programme is the launch of a new online platform dedicated to Warsaw’s independent art scene — a year-round resource bringing together current and archival exhibitions, pop-ups, performances, experimental projects and happenings, as well as a calendar of events and an archive covering the past four years.
The platform will officially launch during the WEBSITE LAUNCH PARTY on 26 September at 8 PM at Teatr Komuna Warszawa, offering an opportunity to celebrate the launch and discover a new way of navigating Warsaw’s vibrant independent art ecosystem.
